Founded in 1957, The Clarion Music Society—comprising The Clarion Orchestra and The Clarion Choir—focuses on performing Early Music on period instruments and related initiatives spanning education and musical diplomacy. By invitation from the U.S. State Department, this October the Clarion Society will embark on its firstever international tour to premiere the lost choral masterwork "Passion Week" by Russian composer Maximilian Steinberg. Gala proceeds will directly support our tour and concerts in two iconic venues: St. Petersburg's Grand Philharmonic Hall and Moscow's Rachmaninoff Hall.
